Green Bay Packers’ departure for Arizona delayed more than 5 hours due to plane mechanical issues

The Green Bay Packers’ departure for Arizona was delayed more than five hours due to mechanical issues with their team plane, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The team’s plane was scheduled to leave Green Bay for Arizona at 11:30 a.m. MST/1:30 p.m. CDT on Saturday, but Pelissero said the team was still on the tarmac as the delay approached five hours.

The Packers had to eventually change planes and were expected to depart shortly, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Cardinals-Packers from State Farm Stadium will kick off at 1:25 p.m. MST and can be heard on 98.7. Watch the action on FOX.
