It has been a successful cup campaign so far for Helen Bleazard’s side, winning each of their three games in the competition without conceding a goal to top their qualifying group.
They defeated neighbours Bournemouth Sports 3-0 in their opener, before a 2-0 win over Moneyfields.
Last time out in the cup, they smashed Ascot United 6-0 away from home, with Jenna Markham netting a hattrick, Sophie Quirk a brace and Jessica Hennessy getting on the scoresheet.
The hosts in the National League Cup first round, meanwhile, have won two and lost one in the competition so far.
A thumping 7-1 win over Chesham United was followed by a convincing 6-1 win over Charlton Athletic, before they were convincingly beaten themselves by Watford, losing 6-0.
QPR currently sit fourth in the National League Division One South East, the tier below the Cherries.
They have won four and lost two in their six games so far this term, most recently defeating Cambridge United 3-1 away from home.
Keeper Katie Scadding has been ever present in the cup so far this term, without conceding a goal.
Looking ahead to the weekend, and speaking about the Cherries’ defensive record, Scadding told [afcb.co.uk](http://afcb.co.uk): “Blez \[Helen Bleazard\] says to us all the time about being clinical in defence and attack.
“We are obviously striving to keep sheets. As goalkeeper that’s what you want to do but again, we press from the front week in, week out from the strikers, midfielders and then the defenders.
“We want to have good cup runs this season, as well as our main focus being the league. OPR will be a good test, I don’t think I’ve come up against them in the nine years I’ve been here.
“But we will be fully focused on them when we head there.”
AFC Bournemouth travel to Hanwell Town to face QPR on Sunday, October 19, kick off at 2pm.
