Bournemouth led 2-0 at halftime thanks to a Junior Kroupi brace, before the hosts roared back into it with two goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta drew the game level.
Ryan Christie scored what the Cherries possibly thought was the winner with just moments left of the 90 minutes, but Palace were awarded a penalty deep into stoppage time that Mateta converted for his hattrick.

The Daily Echo rates the Cherries players in the draw in south London.
**Djordje Petrovic: 7**
The keeper couldn’t do too much about any of the Palace goals but made some good, smart saves. Petrovic seems to be improving in his control of his area, too, coming well for crosses and doing well particularly when Bournemouth were under pressure in the second half.
**Adrien Truffert: 6**
A tough second half for the entire Cherries defence as Palace gained control and got themselves back into the game, the left back and Senesi having some trouble at times dealing with Sarr and Munoz. But a good first half for Truffert at both ends of the pitch.
**Marcos Senesi: 5**
The Argentine was perhaps lucky not to be sent off – although I think the yellow card was absolutely the right decision. A solid overall performance but a couple of mad moments in the second half with Palace on top. While Senesi has been superb this season, he does have moments like that in him and needs to work to iron them out.
**Bafode Diakite: 5**
As with Senesi, a solid performance but a second half in which he and the whole Cherries defence struggled with the pace and power of Palace. You can argue about the penalty decision, and Iraola was not impressed, but referee Jarred Gillett had had words about holding at corners previously so once he had hold of Guehi and the centre back went down, the Australian was going to point to the spot.

**Alex Jimenez: 6**
A good showing from Jimenez. He didn’t get booked and looks to be really maturing into the Premier League. Good signs from the young right back.
**Tyler Adams: 7**
Adams was a key part of what gave the Cherries control in the first half. Palace seemed to struggle to get forward and make the right attacking decisions with the American breaking up play, and while it was a more difficult second period, Adams continues his good early season form.
**Alex Scott: 6**
Like Adams, the Englishman was a big factor in what gave Bournemouth control in the first half. Scott looks to be in good form and he and Adams are forming an impressive partnership.
**Antoine Semenyo: 7**
The Ghanaian looked full of confidence, drifting past players and driving at goal on numerous occasions. A central part in the second Cherries goal, he beat Richards easily and put a decent cross into a dangerous area that Palace weren’t able to clear.

**Justin Kluivert: 6**
A quiet game for Kluivert, the Dutchman linking up well with his attacking teammates in a good first half, before he was replaced.
**Marcus Tavernier: 7**
A good performance from Tavernier playing out wide on the right in the first half. A good assist for Christie’s goal in the second half in a rare foray forward in the second, putting the ball into a dangerous area for the Scot to finish.
**Junior Kroupi: 9**
A superb first start in a Cherries shirt for the 19-year-old. Two brilliantly taken goals and his all-round striker play was top, too, deputising for the injured Evanilson.
**Substitutes:**
**Ryan Christie: 7**
A good finish for the Scot’s first goal of the season.
**James Hill: 6**
**Amine Adli: 6**
**Ben Gannon-Doak: 6**
**Lewis Cook: N/A**
