Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has named his starting XI to take on Tottenham in the Premier League.

He has made two changes from the team that beat Burnley 2-1 before the October international break, with Ollie Watkins only fit enough to start on the bench.

Emi Martínez starts in goal behind a defence of Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, and Lucas Digne.

Boubacar Kamara partners Amadou Onana in the double pivot, while John McGinn, Morgan Rogers, and Evan Guessand support Donyell Malen in attack.

Villa are aiming for their fifth consecutive win this afternoon, having recently beaten Bologna, Fulham, Feyenoord, and Burnley.

None of the last 20 Premier League meetings between Tottenham and Villa have ended in a draw, since a 1-1 stalemate in May 2012.

Villa have won four of their last six Premier League games against Tottenham — as many as they had managed in their previous 29 encounters.

Villa starting XI vs Tottenham: Martinez, Cash, Konsa, Torres, Digne, Kamara, Onana, Guessand, McGinn, Rogers, Malen.

Subs: Bizot, Maatsen, Lindelof, Barkley, Watkins, Sancho, Buendia, Elliott, Bogarde.
