Two Barcelona stars miss training again before Olympiacos

Two leading members of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona remained absent from first-team training on Sunday.

The pair in question? Ferran Torres, and Raphinha.

Both Ferran and Raphinha were of course forced to sit out yesterday evening, as Barcelona marked their post-international break return to action in a meeting with Girona.

In the case of the former, as much comes owing to ongoing discomfort picked up whilst on international duty with Spain.

Winger Raphinha, meanwhile, has been sidelined since last month, after suffering a hamstring injury during a league clash with Real Oviedo.

The hope was that at least one would be given the medical green light to play their part against Olympiacos in the Champions League this coming week.

As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from Catalunya’s capital is anything to go by, then as much remains in serious doubt.

As confirmed by journalist Alex Pintanel, both Ferran and Raphinha sat out group training at the Ciutat Esportiva once again on Sunday.
