It remains arguably the goal of the Premier League weekend. Loum Tchaouna secured all three points for Burnley when he curled in a 25-yard rocket past Leeds United’s Karl Darlow on Saturday.
A sumptuous goal but a crucial one for Burnley, too. Leeds had dominated much of the match at Turf Moor and although Daniel Farke’s side found themselves 1-0 down, they were closing in on an equaliser.
However, substitute Tchaouna picked up the ball amid some lazy midfield marking and was able to turn with ease. The summer signing from Lazio had plenty of space before finding Darlow’s top corner.
It’s been a bad week for Darlow, having conceded seven goals in two games with Wales against England and Belgium. Another two at Burnley and Tchaouna says Darlow’s positioning allowed him to score.

Loum Tchaouna says Karl Darlow was the reason for Burnley goal
Most would argue that Darlow actually had little chance to prevent either of Burnley’s goals. But it was Darlow that passed the ball out of play which eventually led to Kyle Walker curling in a gorgeous cross.
Darlow could do nothing about Lesley Ugochukwu’s header and certainly had nothing he could do when Tchaouna took aim. But according to the Burnley star, he only took on the shot as Darlow wasn’t ready.
“I touch the ball, I turned, I watched the goalkeeper and he was not ready. I saw that I had an angle for the shot so I shot and it was a beautiful goal, so I am happy,” Tchaouna said, speaking to BBC Sport.

The changes Daniel Farke needs to consider includes Darlow
Many might feel Darlow has earned his spot in the side above £15.6m summer signing Lucas Perri but the fact remains, Perri has kept two clean sheets in three Premier League games. Darlow has none in five.
When Perri is fully fit and ready to go, he needs to start. Farke confirmed Perri is injury-free but is building his fitness in training and could be available to face West Ham when Leeds return to Elland Road.
Other changes include bringing Jaka Bijol into the side for his Premier League debut, and a replacement for Brenden Aaronson who is earning plenty of flak after missing a golden chance against Burnley.
