Jets inactives list for Week 7 game vs Panthers (Garrett Wilson injury update)

The New York Jets will return home to East Rutherford following their London trip to take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 7. The Jets are still in search of their first win of the season and remain the only winless team in the NFL.

Aaron Glenn's team had a golden opportunity to pull off the upset victory against the Denver Broncos a week ago, but a horrific quarterback performance from Justin Fields and some questionable coaching ultimately prevented that from happening.

Now, they'll play host to a Panthers team that has won three of its last four games. Carolina is fresh off a 27-24 victory in which they rode the hot hand of running back Rico Dowdle for a second consecutive week.

Usual starter Chuba Hubbard is back in the lineup this week, and it remains to be seen how the Panthers will split their running back touches. Either way, it's a good problem for Carolina to have.

The Jets are expected to be without star wide receiver Garrett Wilson, who is doubtful after missing all week with a knee injury. Wilson's injury status suggests he has a chance to return next week before the Jets' bye in Week 9.

Backup linebacker Cam Jones (hip) and cornerback Qwan'tez Stiggers (hip) are also doubtful and not expected to play. The Jets elevated linebacker Jackson Sirmon and cornerback Korie Black from their practice squad to help replace them.

Nickel cornerback Michael Carter II (concussion) is questionable and expected to play. The Jets have insisted that they plan to split reps between Carter and Jarvis Brownlee at slot corner this week.

Who are the official inactives for both the Jets and the Panthers today? We've got you covered.
