Alexander Isak starts for the first time at Anfield in the Premier League. And Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate have both been passed fit as Liverpool host Manchester United.
Konate had been a doubt after returning home from France duty during the international break while Gravenberch was withdrawn at half-time of the Netherlands' 4-0 win over Finland as a precaution over a hamstring injury.
Sweden striker Isak leads the line and Florian Wirtz once more starts on the bench as Arne Slot names a midfield three of Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai, who will operate as the most advanced of the trio.
Milos Kerkez and Conor Bradley keep their places at full-back with Konate partnering captain Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.
Giorgi Mamardashvili continues to deputise in goal for Alisson Becker, who suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-0 loss to Galatasaray on September 30.
Freddie Woodman, who signed as a free agent in the summer, is on the bench as cover.
Premier League champions Liverpool are looking to end a run of three straight defeats prior to the international break and victory over Ruben Amorim's side will see them go to within one point of leaders Arsenal.
