West Ham welcome Brentford to the London Stadium on Monday night in a contest between the worst home side and second worst away team in the Premier League this season.
The Hammers, who replaced head coach Graham Potter with Nuno Espirito Santo in September, are one of just two clubs in England's top four divisions yet to secure a point at home, alongside Norwich City.
It is a form that has seen them conceded 10 goals in three matches, including a 5-1 trashing by Chelsea before a 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur. As a result, they boast the league's joint-worst defensive record.
Brentford will be seeking to capitalise on their defensive woes as they go in search of their first points on the road under Keith Andrews, with the Irishman losing on all three trips since succeeding Thomas Frank in June.
The Bees have endured a steady start to the new campaign after a summer of change, but a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City before the international break sees them sit just three points above 19th-placed West Ham in 16th.
West Ham are an opponent Brentford have relished facing since earning promotion to the Premier League in 2021, winning six of their eight league encounters, including a 1-0 victory in the last meeting in February.
There is expected to be a different atmosphere at the London Stadium as sections of West Ham's support intend to boycott the fixture in protest against the ownership of Karren Brady and David Sullivan.

Key Players
West Ham: El Hadji Malick Diouf
10-time Senegal international Diouf has had an immediate impact since arriving from Slavia Prague in the summer and has provided a different dynamic to West Ham's attack.
The left-back has registered three assists in his first seven league appearances in England, setting up 50 per cent of the Hammers' goals this season, and been a relentless presence down their left side.
Diouf is a powerful ball carrier and is capable of bursting past opponents from deep to get into threatening positions, where he has a strong eye for a pass and a precise crossing technique that will cause problems.
He'll be tested defensively but his biggest contribution will be on the offensive as he will impose a threat alongside Crysencio Summerville and seek to capitalise on Brentford's recurring defensive lapses.
Brentford: Michael Kayode
Kayode has cemented his place in Brentford's line-up since April and been an indispensable member of Andrews' side this season.
Though yet to register an assist, he has been a vital outlet down the Bees' right, with his Olympic-level throw-ins causing teams problems, and will continue to do the same against a West Ham side vulnerable at set-pieces.
The 21-year-old has proven the complete full-back, capable of progressing the ball effectively while time and time again being an assured presence in defence and making crucial interceptions and tackles.
The hosts' left side will be a source of problems so Kayode's 1-on-1 ability will be key in dealing with the trickiness of Summerville and his strength and athleticism important in neutralising Diouf's threat at the source.
