Ryan Clark Has High Praise For Matthew Stafford

The Los Angeles Rams packed their bags and flew overseas to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.

They would have to play without their best offensive weapon, since star wide receiver Puka Nacua sustained a foot injury in Week 6 and will be forced to miss some time.

However, they didn’t seem to miss him in the first half of the game.

Matthew Stafford got into a rhythm early and often, and he kept finding his guys at all levels of the field.

That’s why former NFL player Ryan Clark took to social media to share some big praise for the former No. 1 pick:

“Matthew Stafford throws the ball from any angle with absolute pinpoint accuracy. One of the best throwers of the football living!” Clark posted on X.

It took him much longer than it should’ve, but it’s nice to see that Matthew Stafford is finally getting the praise and recognition he deserves.

He’s been doing the same side-arm throws that Aaron Rodgers has made for years, yet he didn’t get any credit for that, and the same goes for his no-look passes, à la Patrick Mahomes.

His arm talent has always been remarkable, and while he’s clearly not in his prime anymore, he’s still the type of gunslinger who can beat any type of coverage and any defense on any given night.

Stafford wasted his prime playing for one of the worst teams in professional sports.

At least, he could give the Lions plenty of value in that trade, and while he couldn’t lead them to the top, he gave them the pieces they needed to get past the struggles once and for all.
