CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Browns will enter Sunday's game with the Dolphins down their starting tight end and right tackle.
With 53 players on the roster and no practice squad elevations, the Browns needed to make five players inactive on game day.
Tight end David Njoku was ruled out on Friday with a knee injury and five other players were questionable. Inactive for the Browns besides Njoku, were running back Raheim Sanders, guard Zak Zinter, defensive tackle Michael Hall and cornerback**Jarrick Bernard**-Converse.
Rookie DT Mason Graham missed practice on Friday with a knee injury and is one of five players who are listed as questionable for the game, but he is active.
"(Graham) did something yesterday," Stefanski said. "We'll see how it responds really over the next 24 hours, 48."
Conklin, Hall, wide receiver Gage Larvadain (concussion) and defensive end Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (hip) were questionable, but are active.
Njoku is second on the team in receptions behind tight end Harold Fannin, who has 28 catches for 254 yards, including a touchdown. Tight end Blake Whiteheart is the next man up.
The Browns chose not to elevate quarterback Bailey Zappe from the practice squad, and will enter the game with just two quarterbacks, both rookies: Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders. Gabriel is the starter, and Sanders is the backup.
Hall was listed as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Hall has practiced but been ruled out for the first seven games, but is listed as questionable for this week's game.
"Mike's been working so hard, so we're looking forward to that," Stefanski said.
Hall said he had a torn MCL and a dislocated knee. He underwent a second operation in April and has been working his way back in practice the last couple of weeks and hopes to play as soon as this week.
