Raiders star Maxx Crosby suffers multiple injuries on controversial low block

Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby sounded the alarms on Sunday after picking up multiple injuries against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Raiders returned to the field after dominating the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 and securing their second win of the 2025 NFL season.

Crosby was tackled by Chiefs tight end Noah Gray with 23 seconds left on the clock in the second quarter. CBS Sports’ Gene Steratore broke down the low block and deemed it legal, although the block was controversial, to say the least.

Crosby had three tackles against the Chiefs, who entered halftime up 21-0. In six games this season, Crosby has recorded 25 tackles, four receptions, one forced fumble and one interception for 19 yards.

The Raiders entered this game 2-4 following the Titans win. The Chiefs are too strong for the Raiders and after beating the Detroit Lions in Week 6, Patrick Mahomes and company are eager to build on that win and confirm that they are contenders.

Facing off against Mahomes gives Crosby extra motivation, but he won’t likely be available to return for the rest of the game.
