In order to set their 15-man standard roster for the regular season, the Wizards will waive Dillon Jones, sources tell Josh Robbins of The Athletic (Twitter link).
Jones, who turns 24 years old in 10 days, was the 26th overall pick of the 2024 NBA draft. The 6’5″ forward spent his rookie season season with the Thunder, who traded him to Washington in a salary-dump deal in late June, shortly after Oklahoma City won its first championship.
