‘Maybe the Browns should just make (Quinshon) Judkins the quarterback’: What social media said…

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Browns got back into the win column in emphatic fashion, blowing out the Dolphins, 31-6, on Sunday at home.

Quinshon Judkins rushed for a career-high three touchdowns, including a career-long 46-yard score.

The Browns also forced four turnovers, including three interceptions of Tua Tagovailoa. Tyson Campbell returned one of those interceptions 34 yards for a touchdown to help break the game open.

This was also the first time in 12 games that the Browns scored 20 points in a game, dating back to Dec. 2, 2024.

Next up for the Browns is a trip to New England in Week 8 to face Drake Maye and the Patriots.

Here is how social media reacted to the game.

“Let’s gooo,” Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah posted.

The NFL on CBS’ account posted Bill Cowher’s comments about the Dolphins on their postgame show.

“In a game the Browns lead 31-6, they have 99 rushing yards and Dillon Gabriel has thrown for 97 yards. Wild,” ESPN’s Mike Clay posted.

“Miami is getting absolutely dogwalked by the BROWNS. Hard to come back from that,” Sam Monson of the Check the Mic Podcast posted.

“a little surreal to watch a team implode in real time to the point where there will probably be firings postgame and it’s not the Browns,” Jordan Zirm of The Sporting News posted.

“All those folks who predicted before this season colossal disaster for the Miami Dolphins were correct,” Joe Schad, who covers the Dolphins for the Palm Beach Post, posted.

“The Browns leaned into their strengths, executed the simple things, took advantage of the other team’s mistakes, and won by 25. They had fun in the conditions while the Dolphins were miserable. Fun Sunday. It’s a start…" ESPN Cleveland’s Aaron Goldhammer posted.

“Can the cleveland #Browns play the Miami Dolphins every week please(?)" Browns fan and vlogger Paul Brown from London posted.

“Hate to think what the #Browns would be if they didn’t have Quinshon Judkins. Dude is a beast," John Sabol of Fox 8 posted.

“Maybe the Browns should just make Judkins the quarterback,” Hoopswire’s Sam Amico posted.

“Browns’ defense played well. Browns’ offense played well enough. They’ve got one game changer on offense in Quinshon Judkins. If defense plays like this and they can keep feeding Judkins, the Browns can be in games,” Al Pawlowski of Guardians Live posted.

“Not sure how Mike McDaniel survives this in Miami. Awful, unprepared, mistake prone and undisciplined #Dolphins team getting embarrassed by #Browns who look like a juggernaut today," Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan posted.

“Props to Stefanski for shaking up red zone package with wildcat formation. Takes some pressure off Gabriel and gives Judkins more touches,” former Associated Press writer Tom Withers posted.

“The #Dolphins and their quarterback have officially cratered. After the week they had, the response is telling. There’s no way to run this back out again at Atlanta next week," Mike Greenberg of ESPN posted.

“thought when Dolphins hired McDaniel, they got one of the best football minds out there, but it’s not just X’s & O’s, have to be able to lead people. Tua looks cooked. Defense is bad. Thought they might put it together this year w/ backs against the wall, but they’ve imploded,” Benjamin Allbright of KOA-AM in Denver posted.

“Listen, the Dolphins are awful. The Browns offense is still very bad. But they fought off the ropes. They didn’t quit. For one week, we can all exhale,” Cleveland media personality Nick Pedone posted.

“Not saying I want it, just saying it’s going to happen: Mike McDaniel getting fired sooner than later. They are getting hammered by THE BROWNS,” NFL reporter Mike Freeman posted.
