City 2-0 Everton: 8-minute highlights
The Italian kept a clean sheet in our 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday – his third since moving to the Etihad Stadium in the summer.
Ederson left in the summer after winning 13 major honours in eight seasons and Guardiola is delighted with the two options he has in place of the Brazilian.
“Never, ever if I make a compliment to Donnarumma is it to disrespect the most important goalkeeper that we had maybe in this club,” he said.

“Ederson has been so important in the build-ups and give us great momentum. But Gigio is taller, like Erling [Haaland] is taller than Sergio [Aguero]. The long balls, his presence gives us a boost.
“With Trafford, I see the training sessions and for a long time I haven’t seen a goalkeeper as good as James.
“We have two incredible keepers. Gigio for experience even though he’s just 26 because he started playing with Milan at 17.
“He’s won the European Cup. Of course, he’s a really good keeper and I’m happy for him. Since I have been here, always I have had really good keepers.”
