What a fourth quarter in Denver. 33 points.
Down 19-0 in the fourth quarter, the Broncos offense and defense woke up to make the most incredible comeback in franchise history. The amount of times I have rewritten this recap is enough to give me carpal tunnel, so I’m going to leave it at that.
WHAT A FREAKING WIN!!!!
Broncos vs. Giants final score
### Team ### 1st ### 2nd ### 3rd ### 4th ### Final
New York Giants 7 6 6 13 32
Denver Broncos 0 0 0 33 33
First Quarter
The Broncos offense came out unable to execute anything with consistency. The bumbling led to plenty of punts and very few first downs in the opening quarter. Meanwhile, the Giants also had trouble getting anything going. That is, until the Broncos defense committed three penalties on one drive that ended in a broken coverage touchdown.
Jaxson Dart found his tight end wide open for that 44-yard touchdown in the first quarter to give New York that early lead. It was the only significant offensive drive of the quarter for either team.

Second Quarter
Whether its poor execution, dumb penalties, or just plain embarrassing football play, the Broncos in week 7 were doing all of those things. The Giants added to their lead and the Broncos bumbled their way to a scoreless first half with the Super Bowl 50 champion squad in attendance.
The boo-birds were in full effect as they jogged off the field after a second sack by Brian Burns ended the Broncos hope for a late half scoring drive.

Third Quarter
While the Broncos defense held firm in the second half at first, the Broncos offense did nothing. Well, that is not true. They made embarrassing gaffs and poor execution as is usual. At one point, I — as a fan — was looking for someone to call at the game so I could boo on speaker.
The defense finally broke down again late in the third quarter giving up a 31-yard touchdown run to give New York a three score lead. That seemed to spark the Broncos offense a bit as Bo Nix would find Courtland Sutton on a deep out for 18 yards and then JK Dobbins would rumble outside for a 32-yard run into the red zone near the end of the third quarter.

Fourth Quarter
Bo Nix found Troy Franklin to start the fourth quarter on a 12-yard throw to the Giants’ two yard line. From there, Nix almost threw an interception on first down. On second down, Nix had his pass deflected yet again but Troy Franklin made the diving catch for the first touchdown of the game for Denver.
Nix would then find Courtland Sutton in the end zone for the two-point conversion.
Cam Skattebo ran roughshod over the Broncos defense on the Giants next drive to get them into field goal range, but he needed a breather after one big run and came off the field. In that play, the Broncos defense came up with a big tackle for a loss and then a delay of game pushed the Giants into a third and 17. Then on a deflected throw, a tight end was right there to catch and run 41-yards for yet another touchdown.
A fitting end to the Broncos in this one. Or was it?
The Broncos would add another touchdown late with another two-point conversion to make the score somewhat respectable and then Justin Strnad made a play to breathe life back into the Broncos offense.
The Broncos would cash in on that miscue with a touchdown of their own with just under four minutes left in the game. Down by three points, the Broncos had come back to make a game of it.
Denver’s defense needed one more stop. They got two on the Giants next drive with one stuffed run for no gain and another stuffed for just two yards. On third and eight Denver used its final timeout with just under three minutes to go. Dart, from the shotgun, would throw it deep but it would go go just too far to force a punt.
On third and 11, Bo Nix went deep to Marvin Mims Jr. for 31-yard pass down the field to get Denver into fringe field goal range. A swing pass outside to Evan Engram then went for another big gain into the red zone to bring the game to the two minute warning.
Te-Bow Nix would keep it himself on the 18 yard run for the first lead of the game for Denver with 1:51 left.
Zach Allen and Jonathon Cooper converged for a sack on first down, then a deep ball incomplete. Dart had his pass broken up down field on third down. On fourth down and 19, the pass was caught at the first down maker and a roughing the passer call moved the ball into range for the Giants to complete their own comeback at the Broncos’ 40-yard line.
An insane defensive pass interference call on a yolo ball, gave the Giants a first and goal — because of course the refs would get involved. On replay, it sure looked like an offensive pass interference. It was what it was.
The Broncos got the ball back with 31 seconds and Bo Nix immediately hit Marvin Mims down the field for the first chunk, then found Courtland Sutton for another chunk. With 2 seconds left, Wil Lutz kicked the game-winner.
WHAT A GAME.
Broncos 33, Giants 32.
