New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye [delivered another impressive](https://nesn.com/2025/10/patriots-drake-maye-explains-why-hes-been-consistent-this-season/) performance on Sunday. Maye threw for 222 yards and tossed two touchdowns in a 31-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
Since Maye committed two turnovers in the team’s Week 3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, he has transformed into one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
Over the last four games, the 23-year-old quarterback has thrown for 959 yards and tossed seven touchdowns without a single interception. His impressive performances have propelled New England to a perfect 4-0 record during this stretch.
Boston Herald’s Patriots writer Doug Kyed [is thrilled by how](https://x.com/PatriotsCLNS/status/1980070150494618035) Maye played the last four weeks.
“Like the thoughts I’m having in my head about Drake Maye after this four-game stretch,” Kyed said on Sunday, via Patriots on CLNS. “Like I can’t even say all of them that I’m thinking because they feel so absurd. But he’s playing unbelievably.”

The Patriots have searched for a franchise quarterback ever since Tom Brady left as a free agent in the spring of 2020. If Maye continues to play at this high level, he could lead the franchise for the next decade.
