Kevin Thelwell’s post-Everton life goes from bad to worse at Rangers
Thelwell has been charged with the task of leading a new era at Ibrox.
A US takeover was completed over the summer, and Thelwell oversaw the appointment of Russell Martin as manager.
That move turned into a complete disaster, and Martin was sacked in October.

Sacking Martin without a replacement lined up is one thing, but to be snubbed by three managerial targets is frankly embarrassing.

Thelwell needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat at this point, with Rangers fans in a state of pure anger.
Transfer business is also working against Thelwell, as few Rangers summer signings have really impressed.
Rangers paid £8million to sign Youssef Chermiti from Everton, despite his lack of success after arriving from Sporting.
Thelwell clearly believes in Chermiti, having signed him for both Everton and Rangers.
The Portuguese forward has made little to no impact at Rangers, though, and fans can’t believe the investment Thelwell made in his signature.
Rangers fans are left questioning Thelwell both in terms of his recruitment and his pursuit of a new manager, with his post-Everton life simply turning into a nightmare.
