The Denver Broncos pulled off one of the wildest comebacks in franchise history on Sunday, rallying from a 19-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun the New York Giants 33–32 at Mile High Stadium. Down 19–0 entering the final period, the Broncos erupted for 33 unanswered points the most ever scored by the team in a single quarter to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Broncos Bo Nix was the hero of the night, accounting for four total touchdowns, two through the air and two on the ground. While completing 27 of 50 passes for 279 yards. His late-game surge helped Denver become the first team in NFL history to post 33 or more points in a fourth quarter after being shut out for the first three.

“I felt bad for the people that left early,” Nix said after the game. “It was really bad there for a point… but guys never quit. Took a few plays and next thing you know, Will Lutz is kicking a game winner. I just can’t believe it.”

The win didn’t come easy. Giants rookie Jaxson Dart had the Broncos on the ropes for most of the game, throwing for 283 yards and three touchdowns. But Denver’s defense came alive late, with linebacker Justin Strnad’s clutch interception flipping the momentum.

Nix’s 18-yard rushing touchdown gave the Broncos a late lead, and after the Giants briefly went back ahead, kicker Will Lutz sealed the deal with a 39-yard field goal as time expired. The Broncos improved to 5–2, sitting atop the AFC West, while fans who left early missed one of the greatest Mile High moments in recent memory.
