Soler's Argentina beaten finalists in U20 World Cup as Morocco claim cup

JULIO Soler's Argentina U20s side fell at the final hurdle in their quest for World Cup glory as they were beaten 2-0 by Morocco in the final in Chile.

The [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/?ref=au) left back captained his nation to the final and skippered the team once again in search of the cup.

But Argentina, who had soared through to the final, were unable to defeat the African nation.

They survived an early red card and penalty scare as keeper Santino Barbi rushed out as Yassir Zabiri rushed through on goal, with the stopper booked and a free kick awarded.

But it was set to be only short-lived respite as the number 21 made curled the resulting free kick into the top corner to hand Morocco the lead with 12 minutes on the clock.

And it was two with 28 minutes on the clock, as Zabiri completed his brace, volleying home at the far post.

Argentina had their chances to get themselves back into the game but the six-time champions weren't able to breach the Morocco defence and they were beaten.
