A fresh absence was noted in the latest training session held by La Liga champions Barcelona on Monday.

Barcelona are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for a return to action on the continent.
Fresh off securing a return to winning ways at the expense of Girona over the weekend, the Catalans will turn focus back towards matters in the Champions League, in a meeting with Olympiacos.
As alluded to above, though, on the eve of the clash, a member of Barca’s defensive ranks has emerged as a serious doubt to play his part.
As confirmed by club insider Victor Navarro, Andreas Christensen was absent from group training at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning.
This comes after the Dane was sent home whilst dealing with a bout of illness.
His status to face Olympiacos is therefore considered as being up in the air.
