The Lions (4-2) look to rebound in the first game of Week 7's Monday Night Football (MNF) doubleheader when they host the Buccaneers (5-1) at Ford Field in Detroit.
After a strong start to their campaign, Detroit is coming off a humbling 30-17 loss to the Chiefs. However, the Lions have never lost back-to-back regular-season games since Oct. 2022 and will be hoping to rebound again.
Although the Lions will not have it easy against the Buccaneers, who are coming off a strong 30-19 win over the 49ers in Week 6, led by quarterback Baker Mayfield, who's had a red-hot start, throwing for 1,539 yards, 12 touchdowns, and just one interception through six games.
Detroit’s battered secondary took another blow last week when safety Brian Branch was suspended for punching Chiefs receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, joining others like cornerback Terrion Arnold, who will likely miss this clash.
