Leeds United fell to a 2-0 loss to fellow promoted club Burnley in a frustrating day away at Turf Moor on Saturday, making it one point in three games for Daniel Farke's side - and some supporters in the Leeds Live comments section are warning that the issues on display must be corrected as soon as possible if they're to remain a Premier League club this season.

The home side took the lead in the first half, thanks to Lesley Ugochukwu, who nodded in a well-placed cross from Kyle Walker. Burnley struck again with a long-range effort from Loum Tchaouna to take the three points, but Leeds will feel hard done by after controlling much of the game without scoring themselves.

On Match Of The Day, pundit Micah Richards said: "Leeds were excellent apart from putting the ball in the back of the net. They dominated, Burnley stayed in the game, took their chances — Kyle Walker with a great cross — and the second one, what a strike.” The result leaves Leeds three points ahead of the relegation zone with eight games played.

Despite managing to stay ahead of the trailing pack so far, some fans say they're feeling nervous about the future, with many factors at play. Reader Backspace69 says: "Manager has some responsibility - that performance was lacklustre, lack of motivation and concentration from the players. Tanaka should have come on earlier."

Commenter Uschet writes: "It was a lacklustre display. Our midfield kept giving easy passes away. So did Burnley, but they took advantage of our mistakes. We had half a dozen good chances and they had half of those and yet we lose. Farke changed midfield and Tanaka was worse than our 3 that didn't show up. We can't finish high quality chances and that doesn't bode well long term."

Sky has slashed the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, saving members £336 and offering more than 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

Sky will show at least 215 live Premier League games this season, an increase of up to 100 more.

MrPastry1959 says: "Let's face it, Farke is shuffling a pack of mediocrities in the hope of finding solutions. Unfortunately there isn't time. Very hard to see where goals and points will come from."

Parkys65 writes: "Pascal Strujik is a liability at the moment and we have a better £20m CB option sitting on the bench. But with Farke's decisions, we’re heading for bottom three before Christmas at this rate.

"Farke is too stubborn to change and should be replaced before it’s too late. Today, as usual, Parker reads Farke like a book and sets up accordingly."

BMG adds: "Struijk gets a bit of stick, some justified but he's not the main problem. In my opinion, Aaronson/Harrison are never going to provide much in attack, as they proved. Against a good team, they could do a job defensively. Burnley were terrible but with zero attacking threat they held on easily.

"Farke knew we had no other wingers, so surely a 3-5-2 with Bogle and Gabby wide would have been better for this game. Plus it gives Bijol a chance. For the first time, I'm worried that we won't have enough to stay up."

Lowfieldslad says: "Not sure it’s much to do with Farke. We have no attacking quality and Championship defenders. Pretty obvious really. We just need three teams to be worse. So far there are 5 or 6 poor teams including Leeds so we might be okay."
