New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has not yet made a decision on who his starting quarterback will be for Week 8, according to ESPN’s Jets reporter Rich Cimini.
The Jets are in contention to become the third team in NFL history to not win a single game in a season - but will become the first to go 0-17 if that feat is realized.
This week, the Jets put up only 220 total yards of offense to the Carolina Panthers - losing by a score of 13-6.
Starting quarterback Justin Fields went down early with an injury, but did not impress before he left the game.
He completed six passes for a lowly 46 yards while taking three sacks for a loss of 21 yards. Fields also rushed four times for 22 yards.
Replacing him was backup Tyrod Taylor, who did marginally better by completing 10-of-22 passes for 126 yards. However, he also tossed a pair of interceptions.
