Liverpool are in the midst of an AWFUL run of form. The Premier League champions have been defeated in each of their last four outings - three in the top flight and one in the Champions League.
Arne Slot’s side have come out second best in the league to Crystal Palace, Chelsea and most recently Crystal Palace.
Each game was lost 2-1 with the Reds having fallen behind and equalised in all three. Slot is due to undertake some soul searching before the Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night.
He will need to find the right formula in order to avoid a second successive defeat in the competition following the matchday two loss at Galatasaray.
Liverpool lose four in a row
Liverpool are already on their worst run of form for over a decade. Back in November 2014 under Brendan Rodgers, the Reds last lost four in a row. They lost league matches against Newcastle as well as Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Real Madrid also beat the Reds during that sequence.
But the last time they lost FIVE in a row was 72 YEARS ago - meaning Slot is desperate to avoid matching an unwanted record.
“If they lose for the fifth time in a row to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League on Wednesday, it would be the first time Liverpool have suffered this fate since September 1953,” a report on BBC Sport reads.
