Thibaut Courtois expected to play vs Juventus – report

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is expected to be fit and ready for the game against Juventus on Wednesday, according to a report by The Athletic.

Courtois suffered a knock on his right knee while making a match-winning stop in the final minutes of the game against Getafe on Sunday night.

He held his right knee, where he had anthroscopic surgery just a year ago, and looked to be in a lot of pain.

It raised concerns among the fanbase as Courtois has had knee problems before — most notably an ACL rupture two years ago on his left knee.

Courtois did finish the game on the pitch, and recent scans have concluded that Real Madrid’s number one should be fine for the next game.

Real Madrid face Juventus, Barcelona, Valencia and Liverpool in a crucial part of the season for the club, and there is no doubt that their chances of winning these games increase if Courtois is in goal.
