Jalen Hurts was off to a brutal start to the season as a passer.
In multiple aspects, the Philadelphia Eagles' star quarterback seemed to have regressed in throwing the football.
And then Sunday happened.
In Week 7, Hurts threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes.
His passer rating was 158.3.
And for those keeping score at home, that's as high as that scale goes. It was a perfect passer rating day for Hurts.

It's just the third time that has happened in franchise history, according to NFL.com.
Donovan McNabb did it first, in 2007. And then Nick Foles did it in 2013.
"Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts played his best game of the season," writes NFL.com's Kevin Patra. "Whenever Philadelphia needed a play, the QB made a spot-on deep shot to put a dagger into an aggressive Vikings defense. The Super Bowl MVP made play after play out of the structure, keeping things alive for splash plays. Hurts might struggle with intermediate passing, but he thrives with one of the prettiest deep balls in the league. He threw a 37-yard TD to A.J. Brown, a 79-yarder to DeVonta Smith , a 26-yarder to Brown again. On Sunday, he went 5 of 5 for 216 yards and three TDs on passes of 20-plus yards. With Saquon Barkley and the Eagles running back still stuck in the next, Philly needed every one of Hurts' deep shots. It was apropos that Hurts iced the game with a 45-yard bomb to Brown. Sunday was the type of game that was a reminder of the upside of a bombs-away Eagles offense."
The Eagles entered Sunday having lost two games in a row. For the defending Super Bowl champs, the vibes weren't particularly great.
But instead of just leaning into the run game even more, Philly decided to air it out. Hurts made that work brilliantly with the help of Smith and Brown.
And now the losing streak is over, and the 5-2 Eagles can focus on rattling off some more wins.
