Onana kept his place in Trabzonspor’s goal and helped them record a third consecutive league victory, winning 2-1 at Rizespor. Turkish outlet Fotospor labelled him as one of the ‘unsung heroes‘ in the game.
Toby Collyer
Collyer built on his impressive first start for West Bromwich Albion by helping them record a 2-1 win over Preston North End. He assisted the Baggies’ first goal, marking his first goal involvement for the club.
Ethan Wheatley
The young striker delivered a superb display in Northampton Town’s 2-1 triumph at Doncaster Rovers, registering a goal and an assist.
Ethan Williams
The 19-year-old forward played for 65 minutes as Falkirk registered their second Scottish Premiership victory, beating Motherwell 2-1.
Dan Gore
The midfielder played the full 90 minutes to help Rotherham United make it back-to-back wins in League One with a 1-0 victory over Leyton Orient.
Habeeb Ogunneye
Having missed Newport County’s last league outing, the right-back returned to the League Two campaigners’ starting line-up but could not prevent them suffering a 2-0 home defeat to Cheltenham Town.
Harry Amass
The promising left-back made his sixth consecutive league start for Sheffield Wednesday, but the Owls suffered their third Championship defeat of the season, losing 2-1 at Charlton Athletic.
Radek Vitek
The young Czech goalkeeper continued his impressive form for Championship side Bristol City, keeping his fourth clean sheet in their 1-0 triumph at Norwich City.
