The Dallas Cowboys rebounded in Week 7 of the 2025 season with a dominant 44-22 victory over the Washington Commanders at home.
Dak Prescott led the offense effectively, but kicker Brandon Aubrey stole the spotlight with another flawless performance.
Considered one of the most reliable kickers in the league, Aubrey converted all his attempts and continued his streak of long-range excellence.
His consistency has become a defining trait for Dallas this season, and the latest outing only reinforced his value to the team.
Sports analyst Skip Bayless was quick to praise Aubrey’s work after the game.
“BRANDON AUBREY, EFFORTLESS FROM 61. GREATEST KICKER EVER,” Bayless posted on X.

Aubrey’s first field goal came from 47 yards, a routine distance by his standards.
He followed that with a 61-yarder, marking his second field goal over 60 yards this season and the fifth of his career.
He added a 29-yard kick in the fourth quarter to complete his perfect day.
Entering Week 7, Aubrey had already made four field goals from 60 yards or longer in his three-year Dallas career, including a 65-yarder last season against the Ravens.
That total tied him with former Cowboys kicker Brett Maher for the most 60-plus-yard field goals in NFL history.
The Cowboys now face a critical decision regarding Aubrey’s future, as he is eligible for a contract extension.
After securing multiple players this offseason, Dallas will likely prioritize locking him in next.
His ability to generate points from virtually any spot on the field makes him a high-value asset.
Letting him test free agency could prove costly, and the longer owner Jerry Jones delays, the higher the eventual price tag is expected to climb.
