Celtics Will Debut Gold Uniforms In November

The Boston Celtics will feature a gold alternate uniform during the 2025-26 season, and the jersey is set to make its debut in November in a road battle against the Philadelphia 76ers. The ‘Gold Standard’ City Edition threads will first appear on an NBA court on November 11, and they will later debut at TD Garden on December 19. The Celtics unveiled the new uniform back on September 24 with a social media post captioned by the message, “The stuff of Legends … This year’s City Edition jerseys are a nod to our timeless tradition of winning.” Boston also made uniform history with the 2025-26 City Edition, as it’s the first Celtics jersey in franchise history to not feature any green. Another swing and miss of an alternate jersey. As always: Green on the road, white at home, sprinkle in the black & green set here and there. — Keith Smith (@KeithSmithNBA) September 25, 2025 We’re still not sure if Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla likes the new uniforms, but it’s understandable that people might be afraid to ask. Thanks, Joe. Mazzulla and the Celtics will open up their regular season on Wednesday night at home against the 76ers. Story continues below advertisement
