Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie sensation Emeka Egbuka suffered a minor hamstring injury during the second quarter of Week 6 which sidelined him for the remainder of the game. He did not participate on Thursday and Friday but returned to Saturday’s practice in a limited capacity. As a result, Buccaneers listed Egbuka as a true game-time decision against the Detroit Lions with the plan for him to work out during pre-game warm-ups.

Emeka Egbuka looked good during pre-game warm-ups and the team felt comfortable with him playing tonight. The released their inactive players list not too long ago, ruling out seven players against the Detroit Lions. The good news is that Egbuka was not among the seven players listed, and he is officially active after exiting last week’s game with a hamstring injury.

Mike Evans was also a true-game time decision after missing the previous three games with a hamstring injury. He looked good during pre-game warm-ups and is officially active. Evans needs 860 yards over the final eleven games to break the NFL record with twelve consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
