The New York Giants offense did a lot of good things during the game against the Denver Broncos during the 33-32 loss on Sunday. Quarterback Jaxson Dart has brought this offense to new heights.

Head coach Brian Daboll has been good with Dart during the first four games. The issue with the Giants being 2-5 is defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. A lot of fans want to blame head coach Brian Daboll for the loss, and they want him fired. However, will Daboll be fired after the 2025 season because of this loss or will he be staying for another season?

Dart completed 15-of-33 passes for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed for 11 yards on five carries and one touchdown. This is the fourth straight game that Dart has looked promising. A lot of Giants fans believe that he is the right quarterback for this team for the long haul.
Also, some New York fans are concerned that keeping Daboll on this staff is going to ruin Dart. Mike Francesa went on his podcast after the game and talked about the Giants. He said about Daboll potentially be fired after the 2025 NFL season,
“I don’t know if Daboll’s good enough to take them to the promised land. I don’t know that. We’ll see that. He’s gonna get another shot with this team because they are not gonna break up him and Dart. They’re not going to do it, not with Dart playing and leading and doing the things and energizing the way he is. Daboll has wrapped himself around Dart and they are a tandem right now. So he’s not going anywhere, even if you have losses like this.”
It would not be the worst thing in the world if Daboll was kept for another season because of Dart. What the Giants can not afford to keep happening is having Bowen as the defensive coordinator. They should win more games this season. However, if they go 2-15 despite Dart playing great in every game, then there is no doubt that the Giants will have a new coaching staff next season. There is talent on the roster, but coaching is the weaknesses of this football team as well.
