The Indianapolis Colts were predicted to be one of the worst teams in the NFL entering the 2025 season. Well, this team has been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL.

Indianapolis defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on the road by a final score of 38-24 on Sunday afternoon. With the win for the Colts, they improve to 6-1 on the season and they currently lead the AFC South division. Indianapolis has had one of the best offenses in the NFL this season. Head coach Shane Steichen should be one of the front runners for coach of the year right now.
NFL Analyst Believes That the Indianapolis Colts Are a Super Bowl Contender in the AFC

Damien Woody of ESPN was on the Show Get Up on Monday morning. He made a statement about the Colts after winning on the road against the Chargers on Sunday. Woody said,
“This Indianapolis Colts team? They are for real folks. Take them very seriously.”
They are in the driver’s seat to win the AFC South division this season. Getting at least one home playoff game this season is going to be a good thing for this franchise. During the game on Sunday, Daniel Jones completed 23-of-34 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns.
Jonathan Taylor was the story in this game as he rushed for 94 yards on 16 carries and three touchdowns. Alec Pierce was the leading receiver in this game for the Colts with five receptions for 98 yards receiving. Tyler Warren and Michael Pittman Jr. each had a touchdown reception in this game as well.
This team has exceeded expectations already this season. It is a shock that some people have Indianapolis in the Super Bowl conversation this season.
