Jason Kelce deleted a brutal tweet aimed at Jude McAtamney after the New York Giants accomplished a feat not seen in over 1,600 games.
On Sunday, the Giants coughed up an 18-point lead with six minutes remaining in New York's 33-32 loss to the Denver Broncos, leading 26-8 with 6:38 left in the fourth quarter. Throughout the game, however, McAtamney missed two crucial PAT attempts which would have won the game for New York.

As such, the former Philadelphia Eagles star joked on social media that McAtamney would be on the bad side of his teammates. Kelce's post comes after he made his feelings clear on a former teammate coming out of retirement.

“Giants kicker is gonna have to fly home on Southwest," Kelce's post read before the Eagles legend deleted it.
McAtamney took responsibility for his two missed attempts, telling reporters that it was his job to make those kicks, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding. “I suppose even with that I still should be able to get guys out of a hole, like if the snap is not perfect or if the hold is not perfect," he told reporters after the loss.
“I’m a professional kicker I’ve got to be able to make those. Pull those guys out of hole if I need to. [Longsnapper Casey Kreiter] said the snap was on him but look the ball was down and the laces were good, I’ve just got to make the play. I don’t like to shy away from making mistakes.

Following the performance, Giants head coach Brian Daboll would not specify whether he would turn to another kicker, instead telling reporters that he would determine how the week will go before making a decision on if McAtamney will be replaced moving forward.
"Yeah, we'll see where that goes here throughout the week," Daboll said simply to reporters Monday when pressed if Younghoe Koo or Graham Gano would potentially replace the 25-year-old after his performance against the Broncos.
In the same vein, Giants star Bobby Okereke came to McAtamney's defense, believing the loss was not only on the 25-year-old, but rather the entire team as a whole.

"Yeah, I mean, that's I think that's part of the league," Okereke said of the emotions running high in New York's locker room after the loss. "We're a bunch of fiery competitive dudes. Obviously, frustrations boil over in a tough emotional loss like that.

"The way the momentum was swinging, it was up and down. You know, I think that's a positive for us as a team to get those frustrations and emotions out. And us as grown men, you know, have the accountability to get better.
"And we talked about it today. It's not one player, one coach, one position group.
"Everybody really had their hands in the pot in this loss. And it's really just that aggressiveness of having the detail to finish and having the urgency to finish, because these games are going to come down to one score less and you've got to win in the fourth quarter."
