Eagles hero changes his mind on retirement decision

Before the season, longtime Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham decided that he would not be returning to the team this year and would be retiring from the NFL after 15 seasons in Philadelphia. However, it sounds like he has changed his mind in that regard.

Graham played his entire 15-year NFL career in Philadelphia before deciding to retire after the team’s Super Bowl run last season. However, according to a report from Jeff Kerr of [CBS Sports](https://x.com/JeffKerrCBS/status/1980404129047671182) that was later confirmed by Pro Football Talk, Graham has decided to unretire and rejoin the Eagles for the 2025 season.

According to Kerr, the official announcement is expected to come on Tuesday morning.

Graham obviously helped lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl championship last season in which he totaled 20 tackles in 11 game appearances, but his most iconic contribution to the team actually came a few years before, in Super Bowl LII.

In the closing minutes of the team’s Super Bowl victory over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, Graham had an iconic and heroic strip sack on Brady to help seal the victory.

It’s not clear whether or not Graham will sign a multi-year contract with the Eagles or will simply be returning for one more season with the team, but he is expected to be back, providing another veteran player to the defense.
