Cole Palmer has revealed how many goals he thinks he’ll score for Chelsea this season in the Premier League, alongside a few other bold predictions about the campaign ahead.
The Blues forward has not yet hit the heights he’s used to at Stamford Bridge this season, but Cole Palmer certainly backs up his opinions with his ability on the pitch.

Which is why it’s no surprise he’s predicted himself to score a bunch of goals before the end of the 2025/26 season.
Cole Palmer predicts his Chelsea Premier League goal tally
In an interview with Sports Direct, the England international was asked several quickfire questions surrounding his goalscoring. His answers were as follows:
How many hat-tricks will you score this season? Three
How many goals will you score in the Premier League this season? 17
How many Man of the Match awards will you receive this season? Eight
What will your penalty conversion rate be this season? 100%
What will your longest scoring streak be this season? Five
Seventeen goals for Palmer, it seems, which would better last season’s tally. He scored 15 goals in the Premier League last season (2024-25), which also included eight assists in 37 appearances.
So with that said, how many more goals does he need to hit his prediction? Well, Palmer is currently on just one goal this season in England’s top flight for Chelsea. 16 to go.
Cole Palmer injury update
Palmer is currently injured, with Enzo Maresca stating that he will miss another six weeks with a groin injury.
“I was wrong,” Maresca told a news conference on Friday. “Unfortunately, he needs to be out probably six more weeks. So, yes, this is the update.”

“We try to protect Cole as much as we can. The most important thing is when he comes back, he is fully fit.
“The medical staff are not magicians. We hope six weeks are enough. We need to see it step-by-step. For sure, he’s going to be OK.
“He looks relaxed. He has tried to recover from the injury and is doing all the therapy.”
But there’s plenty of time left, and when Palmer returns to full fitness, the 23-year-old will likely get back to the goalscoring form Chelsea fans know and love in the Premier League.
