There are few clubs with a bigger appeal than FC Barcelona when it comes to world football. The Catalan giants, even when they have their own struggles to deal with, always seem to remain an attractive club to join for any player.
Interestingly, one such player who has just recently admitted to potentially having seen himself join the Catalan club was former Bayern Munich star and legend Thomas Muller.
As stated in an interview with Blickpunkt Sport (via Mundo Deportivo), he admitted that he could have imagined a future at the Catalan club:
“I could have imagined a future in Barcelona, yes.”

Elaborating on it further, he confessed that the Hansi Flick factor could have played an important role in that hypothetical decision, and if the project appealed to him, he could have joined La Blaugrana:
“If Hansi Flick, who knows me very well, had called me, and if I had liked the project in Barcelona, I could have imagined something like that. It’s a top-level club where you know exactly what people expect from you.”
As for the reality of the situation right now, that is simply impossible. Aged 36, the German midfielder now plays in America for the Vancouver Whitecaps in the MLS. Barça, on the other hand, must now look to recruit prospects for the future rather than investing on veterans as they have done in the past.
