Everton talent Harrison Armstrong suffered a very frustrating day as Preston North End lost against West Bromwich Albion.
Everton lost to Manchester City on the road this weekend, and Harrison Armstrong suffered a similar fate.
Armstrong started for Preston North End against West Bromwich Albion and suffered a 2-1 defeat.
Armstrong was at the centre of refereeing controversy, though, as he was brought down inside the box at 0-0.
Referee Andrew Kitchen didn’t point to the spot, leaving both Armstrong and PNE boss Paul Heckingbottom baffled.

Preston North End captain praises Everton’s Harrison Armstrong
That moment changed the outlook of the game, especially as West Brom then took a 2-0 lead.
Former Everton talent Isaac Price scored what proved to be the winner, leaving Armstrong disappointed.
The 18-year-old continues to show his talent and potential at PNE, though, and he has been praised by a fellow North End midfielder.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Captain Ben Whiteman told the Lancashire Post that PNE have signed ‘proper players’ this summer.
Whiteman highlighted former Everton talents Thierry Small and Lewis Dobbin, but drew particular attention to Armstrong.
Whiteman predicts that Armstrong will not only be a Premier League player with Everton, but a ‘top quality player’ in the process.
“Harrison is going to be a top-quality player, he’s going to be a Premier League player,” said Whiteman while praising North End’s recruitment.
Harrison Armstrong set to face former Everton winger
Armstrong’s weekend was ruined by a poor refereeing decision and a beautiful finish from a former Everton man in Price.
The Championship season is unrelenting, and PNE are right back in action on Tuesday night.
Birmingham City visit Deepdale, and Armstrong could start once again in the North End engine room.
That means Armstrong could come up against another ex-Everton man in Demarai Gray.
Gray rejoined Birmingham over the summer and has so far bagged one goal and one assist in 10 games.
Armstrong will hope to help PNE return to winning ways and leave Gray on the losing side at Deepdale.
