Yamal is the measuring stick for young players in world football at the moment after finishing second in the Ballon d’Or award ceremony, six places ahead of Cole Palmer.
Brazilian legend Zico has already made comparisons between Estevao and Yamal, and when it comes to one creative stat the Brazilian is ahead of him already.
As per CIES, the Chelsea youngster is completing the most dangerous passes under high pressure for a player under 20, ahead of Yamal and Real Madrid star Franco Mastantuono.
Estevao has shown a confidence above his years since joining Chelsea, with him not afraid to take responsibility for the side.
He completely changed the game after coming off the bench against Liverpool, scoring the winner after already creating good opportunities for Enzo Fernandez and Marc Guiu.

Chelsea secretly hoping Estevao does not win Golden Boy award
Estevao is amongst the world’s best young players who have been nominated for the Golden Boy award, alongside Jorrel Hato, Geovany Quenda and Mamadou Sarr.
The Brazil international is Chelsea’s best chance of winning the award, however there may be a secret hope at the club that he does not walk away with the trophy.
Chelsea will owe Palmeiras more money if Estevao wins the award, due to one of the bonuses they included in the deal to sign him originally.
Estevao is likely to miss out to Yamal for the trophy, however Blues fans should remain excited as to what the future looks like with the youngster as a key part of their side.
