Mateo Joseph went on strike at Leeds United to secure his exit last summer.
Real Betis were determined to sign him on advantageous terms but lost to RCD Mallorca in the end. The latter signed him on loan from Leeds United.
The striker has played eight matches, including four starts, for Mallorca so far. He’s failed to score and managed two assists after seven matches.
At the weekend, the Leeds United loanee came off the bench in the 62nd minute against Sevilla. At that time, Mallorca were 1-0 down and finished with a 3-1 win. Joseph gave Mallorca the lead in the 72nd minute and then netted his second goal in the 77th minute.
