Ryan Gravenberch missed training on Tuesday
Liverpool have been dealt an injury setback ahead of their match against Eintracht Frankfurt, with Ryan Gravenberch missing open training on Tuesday.
The Dutch midfielder was forced to leave the pitch due to an ankle injury during Sunday's loss to Manchester United. The 23-year-old twisted his ankle while challenging Bryan Mbeumo early in the second half.
Despite attempting to continue playing, he was substituted just after the hour mark as Liverpool went on to lose 2-1.
After the game, Arne Slot confirmed that Gravenberch's substitution was due to his injury and that his condition would be evaluated before the trip to Germany.
"I took him off because he twisted his ankle," Slot said post-match. "Is he an injury concern? That's what we have to wait and see tomorrow, but we have to play [on Wednesday] again."

However, after missing open training, it seems likely that the Reds will be without the Dutch international for the Frankfurt match, reports the Liverpool Echo.
On a brighter note for Liverpool, Wataru Endo returned to training.
The Japanese international missed the defeat to Manchester United due to a hamstring injury, having also sat out international duty after picking up the problem against Chelsea.
