Villarreal have been handed a late boost for their clash with Manchester City this evening after Juan Foyth returned to training.
[AS cover the situation today](https://as.com/futbol/foyth-llega-a-tiempo-para-el-city-y-pau-navarro-es-baja-f202510-n/?outputType=amp), reporting the centre-back has recovered in time for the Champions League clash.
The Argentine has been missing from Villarreal’s squad for several weeks due to muscle problems. He was expected to miss the clash against Manchester City.
Foyth then returned to training normally with his teammates this week. That’s allowed him to be included in the 23-man list for the clash against Manchester City. His recovery is very much seen as him arriving on time.
His inclusion will be big boost for the Spanish side as they look to secure their first win in the Champions League this season. They’ve so far lost and drawn their first two games and sit 26th in the table. Manchester City sit in 8th on four points after a win and a draw.
While Foyth will be in the squad, and likely to start, defender Pau Navarro has been left out alongside Logan Costa and Willy Kambwala. That makes his return to fitness even more timely.
