David Luiz has written himself into the Champions League record books - but unwittingly saw his Pafos teammate steal the headlines.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal defender has been ever-present for the Cypriot side during their maiden campaign among Europe's elite.

Luiz completed a surprise return to European football from his native Brazil to sign for Pafos in August, just 11 years after their formation.
He has since started all three of the club's Champions League matches this season, including Tuesday's early kick-off against Kairat.
The Kazakhstan-based opponents are captained by Aleksandr Martynovich, who is the man who has helped Luiz make elite European history.

It is the first time in UEFA history that two outfielders aged 38 or older have started against each other in a game.
However, Luiz faces a battle to ensure a memorable night on the pitch as his teammate received a red card in the fourth minute.
Pafos forward Joao Correia became the fastest player to have been sent off in the Champions League this season for a wild high foot.
The Portugal-born player, who plays internationally for Cape Verde, recklessly caught ex-Portugal U21 starlet Luis Mata in the head.
Correia's early sending off was at odds with the experience expected from a Pafos team boasting the oldest average starting XI in the Champions League this season (29 years 282 days).

In terms of average age, Pafos are one of only two teams that haven’t fielded a player under the age of 24 so far, along with Galatasaray.
The veterans secured an accomplished goalless draw to Olympiakos last month, but then suffered a heavy defeat against Bayern Munich.
Correia's red card is already the second that Pafos have received in the Champions League, following another dismissal on matchday one.
Bruno Felipe was sent off late for two cautions against Olympiakos, with Luiz and the rest of his teammates holding on for a point.
The 31-year-old has been restored to Pafos' starting XI for the trip to Kairat, but now has to help cover for Correia's ill-discipline.
Both teams are desperate to record their first ever Champions League win, in what is the first fixture played between teams from Kazakhstan and Cyprus in European Cup history.
