Kevin Durant has worn a bunch of jerseys in his time in the NBA.
The all-time great has almost always worn the number 35.
This season, though, Durant is wearing a single digit: 7.
With the Houston Rockets, the man they call the Slim Reaper is looking extra slim with just the one number on his back.
It's not the first time Durant has worn the No. 7, though. He also rocked it with the Brooklyn Nets.

Why is Kevin Durant wearing jersey number 7 with Rockets?
It's not immediately clear why KD chose No. 7, because it appeared his signature 35 was available at the time of his trade to the Rockets.
Durant wore 35 with the Supersonics, Thunder, Warriors and Suns, only wearing 7 once before, with the Nets.
The Rockets had a No. 7 last season, Cam Whitmore, but he was traded to the Wizards before KD arrived, freeing up the digit.
It could also be a nod to the historic seven-team trade that landed Durant in Houston in the first place.
The Rockets haven't had a 35 since Christian Wood in 2021-22. Other Houston immortals like Kenneth Faried, Montrezl Harrell, Scott Padgett and Bernie Williams have spent time in 35, too.
Ironically, the Rockets have had No. 7 worn by at least four players who could be described as having been past their peak by the time they reached Houston: Carmelo Anthony, Joe Johnson, Jeremy Lin and Victor Oladipo.
KD is 37 now, certainly not in his prime. But he's still a star, and he'll surely make the No. 7 look good in Rockets colors.
