A mild start for FC Barcelona soon turned into a thrashing for Olympiacos. In their third UEFA Champions League game of the league phase, the Catalan giants were simply on fire and could not be stopped.
La Blaugrana managed a 6-1 victory at home, thanks to a hattrick by Fermin Lopez, a brace from Marcus Rashford, and a goal from Lamine Yamal. Three crucial points, and a statement win right before El Clásico.
Here are the player ratings for the Barça players.
Barcelona Player Ratings vs Olympiacos:
Wojciech Szczesny: 6.5/10
Made a few good saves but was a bit frustrating at times with his distribution.
Jules Kounde: 6.5/10
A better outing from the Frenchman compared to his recent games, but one that still shows that there is room for further improvement. Solid outing for Jules Kounde.
Pau Cubarsi: 7.5/10
Great in terms of his distribution and never seemed to look out of touch. Sharp on the ball and did well to contest in terms of his defensive duels.
Eric Garcia: 7.0/10
Unfortunate enough to give away a penalty, but showcased real determination apart from that. Good outing from the Spaniard.
Alejandro Balde: 7.5/10
Managed to get an assist and looked very energetic even apart from that. Continued to make positive runs on the left flank that really helped the rest of his teammates.
Marc Casado: 7.0/10
Great energy in midfield and was constantly looking to win the ball back whenever he could. His intensity enabled others around him to operate at a more efficient level as well.
Pedri: 8.5/10
Continues to run the show no matter who he plays against, and the Spaniard is truly the main component of this Barcelona team right now. From his passes to his ability to carry the ball forward, Pedri is truly a special kind of talent.
Lamine Yamal: 7.0/10
Extremely passive today, and very rarely did he decide to make things happen. However, he managed to convert the penalty that Barça won in this game.
Dro Fernandez: 8.0/10
Exciting performance from the youngster, who grabbed this opportunity with both hands and even managed to get a good assist. Great display from the young midfielder.
Fermin Lopez: 10/10

The man of the moment, Fermin Lopez, was truly a class apart on this Champions League night. A hattrick to his name, one that saw him score all three goals with his weak foot as well, the Spaniard was simply relentless in front of goal.
Marcus Rashford: 9.5/10
Two beautifully taken goals, the Englishman seems to be brimming with confidence right now. His finishes were absolutely clinical, and he also helped Barça win a crucial penalty.

Decent cameo from the Spanish left-back.
Ronald Araujo: 6.5/10
