Leeds United take on West Ham this Friday evening looking to capitalise on the Irons’ ongoing struggles under a new manager.
Daniel Farke will surely know that this Friday night probably has to yield three points. Otherwise, he’s going to find himself facing much more vocal questions about his position.
Leeds do face a West Ham side that find themselves in a bleak position, currently, beaten 2-0 at home by Brentford.

Brenden Aaronson surely has to be dropped after spurning massive Leeds United chance
Prior to Spurs, I noted that Willy Gnonto and Dan James being out, meant that there was an opportunity for Brenden Aaronson.
The £25million American has kept his place of late on the right wing purely on the basis that United have no other right-wing options.

Dan James has to start over Brenden Aaronson on the right wing against West Ham
Any natural wide option would be better than shoe-horning Aaronson into the setup at the moment, so another £25million option in James returning to the fold was a huge boost.
How he’s managed to overcome ankle ligament damage before the end of this month is astounding, but it’s perfect timing.
Now, against West Ham, if James is fit enough to start, it’s a complete non-negotiable.

Not only is his combination with Jayden Bogle one of our best assets in possession, but his threat in behind could be a nightmare for West Ham.
The Irons massively struggled to deal with Brentford going direct on Monday. Having wingers that threaten in behind alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s undoubted aerial presence would be crucial.
West Ham look hapless at defending crosses, which means Leeds need to be as strong as possible out wide. That includes starting James on the right.
