Erling Haaland has continued his unstoppable start to the season by putting up Cristiano Ronaldo-esque numbers for goals.
The Manchester City striker equalled the Al Nassr superstar's career best haul of scoring in 12 consecutive matches for club and country.

Haaland took his tally to 24 goals for the 2025/26 season by slamming home the opener during their Champions League win at Villarreal.
The Norwegian pounced upon Rico Lewis's low cross to find the back of the net in his fourth successive Champions League game. Bernardo Silva scored City's decisive second goal on 40 minutes.
Haaland has scored in each of his last nine appearances for Man City - and is only one adrift of equalling his record haul for consecutive outings under Pep Guardiola between August and October 2022.
However, the 25-year-old has matched Ronaldo's career best streak of grabbing one goal or more in his past 12 games for club and country.

Having netted in Man City's Premier League opener - a 4-0 win over Wolves, Haaland then blanked in a defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Yet since then, the forward has been a one-man wrecking ball, with 22 goals in his next 12 appearances.
His epic run started away at Brighton, before he scored six times across Norway's two international fixtures in September.
Haaland soon demolished Wayne Rooney’s Manchester derby feat with a double against United, with Arsenal also feeling his wrath.
Burnley, Brentford, and Everton have all conceded to him in the Premier League, with Haaland claiming the match ball against Israel.
He marked his return to the Champions League on Tuesday by scoring, but proved he's still human by missing a sitter soon after.

Haaland equals Ronaldo scoring record
Ronaldo, meanwhile, notched up goals in 12 consecutive games for Real Madrid in April 2018, the second time he had hit such a landmark.
His late equaliser in Los Blancos' 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao capped a streak of 22 goals in La Liga and the Champions League in that run.
Bayern Munich put an end to his form in front of goal, but Ronaldo had the last laugh as Madrid went on to eliminate the Germans en route to winning that year's European Cup.
On that occasion, the Spanish giants won the final by beating Liverpool, ironically, the team that stopped Ronaldo's last run.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored in his first 12 appearances at the start of the 2014/15 season, but failed to find the net in a 1-0 victory over the Reds at the start of November.

Haaland reveals reason behind his best form
Haaland recently credited becoming a father with his stunning scoring form at the start of the new season.
Asked about being in the best form of his career after bagging the winner against Brentford, Haaland told Sky Sports: "You can say so, I’ve never felt better than I do now.
"I think it’s about preparation first of all, getting ready for the games and I spoke so many times about it before, you can be physically ready but you need to be mentally ready as well.
"To be honest with a kid I think it makes me even better because I actually disconnect more than ever, I don’t think about football at all.

"Sometimes when you’re younger, you think of this and that and maybe worry a little bit about things.
"But now when I go home I relax even more so I think I need to give a shout out to my son."
