The New Orleans Saints have made a series of roster moves with center Erik McCoy (biceps) and running back Kendre Miller (ACL) out for the season.

The team announced Tuesday that it signed running back Velus Jones Jr. to the active roster and added running back Audric Estime to the practice squad, while placing McCoy and Miller on injured reserve.

The Saints added the running backs after Miller and McCoy got hurt in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears.

This marks the second time that Jones is on the Saints' 53-man roster. The 28-year-old appeared in the first five games as the team's kick returner. He was cut earlier this month, but was soon re-added to the practice squad.

Estime, meanwhile, joins the Saints after beginning his career with the Denver Broncos. The former 2024 fifth-rounder, picked three picks ahead of Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler, rushed for 310 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries in 13 games for the Broncos.

After Denver cut him this year when setting its initial roster, Estime joined the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad and spent the first part of the season there until he was cut again last week.

With Tuesday's moves, the Saints now have one open roster spot.
