**West Ham are as good as down, and no one really seems to care.**
The fans, the players, the owners, no one seems to really be that bothered about the situation West Ham are in. Last night’s performance against Brentford is as bad as it gets, and on another night that score line looks a lot worse.
If that performance was put in just before Potter got sacked then you could maybe write it off, but no team should be playing like that three games into a well respected manager’s tenure.
Bar a couple of exceptions, it’s painfully obvious the players don’t care about the club. There’s no fight, no passion, they’re lazy, and they have no anger.
What’s perhaps the most heartbreaking is just how numb to it the fans are. It feels like relegation has been accepted for some time. It’s just a matter of how long they can stick to what they fight for.
