Shedeur Sanders is one of the most followed backup quarterback of recent memory. His entrance into the league closely covered after he fell out of the first round. His time with the Cleveland Browns has been full of stories both on and off the field as well.

Earlier this week, Sanders announced he would be hosting a car giveaway with Drive Point Auto Group. This exciting news was shared on Instagram:

“I was BLESSED to be a BLESSING! We’re Blessing somebody that’s deserving with a CAR in Cleveland and nearby cities,” Sanders wrote. “I’m looking for difference makers in the community so help me find that person that’s always looking out for others but deserves to be Blessed as well.”

Sanders has already shown love to Cleveland plenty of times this year. In July, he hosted a “Garden Valley Fun Fest” designed to help kids impacted by the explosion and fire at Rainbow Terrace Apartments.

Additionally, Sanders tried to get middle school students free tickets to Cleveland’s preseason games.

“I’m very excited. I want to find a way to get a lot of the high school and middle school kids free tickets to come to the game,” Sanders said in August, via Camryn Justice of News 5 Cleveland. “I don’t know how I’m going to do that. I didn’t talk to anybody about this. I just always had that thought. It’d be cool if we do it.”

Suffice to say, Sanders is using his platform the right way. As for his NFL career, it’s too early to tell when he’ll get his chance to start.
